Great article -

Question. Are you saying indirectly CLA (constraint led approach) & game based theory with your article? It also (to me) states stay away from “linear” drills and try to be more “non linear”, yes?

I’m curious which philosophy is being utilized. Thanks

No philosophy. Articulating an experience of what I see. Players' needs determine best approach at any given time. The purpose or the goal of the workout should determine the style of workout used. Building confidence the day before a game is a different goal than changing a skill in an offseason workout, and one should not use the exact same workout for both purposes.

The talking points( to me) come off as “player centered” vs “coach centered”& Ecological approach both of which are major factors in order for CLA to “happen”.

That being said. I’m a fan. Thanks for the feedback, I’ll keep reading.

Sincerely, ✌🏻

I don't think I articulated anything that is not coach centered. How I would use the various workouts would be more player centered, but again, my intention was more to categorize or describe generic workouts, not to describe my workouts or personal philosophy. I don't think any necessarily must fit with CLA or ecological approach.
